Terms & Conditions

Last Updated:  September 8, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your access to the Make Custom Boxes website and your dealings with us, including quote requests, artwork or proof approvals, and orders for custom packaging. By using this website or approving an order, you agree to these Terms and to the order-specific details shown in the applicable quote, invoice, proof, or written confirmation.

1. Acceptance and Website Use

You may use this website only for lawful purposes. By submitting an inquiry or placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have authority to act for yourself or the business you represent. You must not misuse the website, attempt to interfere with its operation, submit false information, or use its content or services in a way that violates applicable law or another party's rights.

2. Quotes, Orders, Pricing, and Payment

Quotes are prepared from the dimensions, quantity, materials, printing, finishes, delivery destination, and other information you provide. A quote is an estimate until Make Custom Boxes confirms the final specifications and issues an order confirmation or invoice. Pricing and availability may change before an order is accepted, and obvious typographical or calculation errors may be corrected.

Payment is due according to the terms stated in your quote or invoice. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, production will not begin until required payment has cleared and all requested specifications, artwork, and proofs have been approved. Taxes, duties, shipping, storage, special handling, revisions, and services outside the approved quote may be charged separately. We may decline or cancel an order before production if we cannot manufacture it safely, lawfully, or to an acceptable standard.

3. Custom Specifications, Artwork, and Proof Approval

You are responsible for supplying accurate product dimensions, quantities, artwork, copy, colors, barcodes, regulatory text, and intended-use requirements. Any dieline, digital proof, sample, or specification should be checked carefully for size, layout, spelling, orientation, materials, print coverage, and finishing details before approval.

Your approval authorizes us to manufacture the order as shown. Changes requested after approval may require a revised quote, additional payment, and a new production schedule. Digital displays and proofs cannot reproduce every production variable, so reasonable differences in color, material, finish, dimensions, registration, and other normal manufacturing tolerances are not defects unless a written specification states otherwise.

4. Production, Shipping, and Delivery

Production and delivery times are estimates that generally begin after required payment, final proof approval, and receipt of all usable order information. Any timeframe displayed on the website or discussed during quoting is not a guaranteed delivery date unless we expressly agree to one in writing.

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address and for arranging prompt receipt of the shipment. Carrier delays, customs processing, weather, supply interruptions, force majeure events, and other circumstances outside our reasonable control may affect delivery. Responsibility for loss or damage in transit will be handled under the shipping terms in the applicable quote or invoice and the carrier's conditions.

5. Cancellations, Returns, and Claims

Because our products are made to approved custom specifications, an order generally cannot be cancelled, changed, or returned after production has begun. A cancellation requested before production will be reviewed individually, and design, sampling, material, setup, administrative, or other costs already incurred may be non-refundable.

Inspect each delivery promptly. Claims involving visible shipping damage, shortages, manufacturing defects, or a material difference from the approved specifications must be reported promptly through our Contact page or by emailing info@makecustomboxes.com. Include the order details, photographs, quantities affected, and original packaging where relevant. Do not return goods without written authorization. If we verify a valid claim, we may repair, reprint, replace, credit, or refund the affected goods, as appropriate and subject to applicable law.

6. Customer Responsibilities and Intellectual Property

You are responsible for determining whether the final packaging is suitable for your product, distribution method, storage conditions, market, labeling, and legal or regulatory requirements. Our design or manufacturing assistance is not legal, regulatory, food-safety, product-safety, or compliance advice. Where performance or compliance is important, you are responsible for arranging appropriate testing and professional review before use.

You retain ownership of artwork and brand materials you supply and grant Make Custom Boxes permission to use them as reasonably necessary to quote, proof, manufacture, and deliver your order. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions required for all supplied content and that it does not infringe another party's intellectual property or other rights. The website's text, graphics, layouts, logos, and original content remain the property of Make Custom Boxes or their respective licensors and may not be commercially reproduced without permission.

7. Warranties and Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and custom products are provided on an "as available" basis and according to the approved order specifications. Except for warranties expressly stated in writing, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Make Custom Boxes will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost sales, business interruption, or damage arising from a customer's product, artwork, labeling, storage, packing, shipment, or use of the packaging. Our total liability relating to an affected order will not exceed the amount paid to us for that order. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

8. Changes, Governing Law, and Contact

We may update these Terms from time to time by posting a revised version and changing the Last Updated date. The version accepted with an order will apply to that order unless the parties agree otherwise in writing. If an order-specific quote, invoice, or written agreement conflicts with these general Terms, the order-specific document controls for that order.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where Make Custom Boxes is legally established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be handled by courts with lawful jurisdiction over the parties and subject matter. Questions about these Terms may be submitted through our Contact page or sent to info@makecustomboxes.com.
